During liberty horsemanship sessions with Hannah Francis, you’ll learn to communicate clearly with horses in their native language by studying horses’ natural instincts, their Code of Conduct, and the behaviors horses use to create harmony in their herds. We’ll look at how to use their instincts, Code, and behaviors to step into the horses’ world - growing leadership skills, building trust, gaining respect, and developing deep relationships with horses.

Free Spirit Stables is also home to Eva Jones’ Magical Horsemanship. Hannah Francis and Eva Jones have studied extensively with Carolyn Resnick who developed this method of liberty horsemanship by studying herds of wild horses and observing behaviors and rituals horses share with each other. Carolyn adapted these natural behaviors into tools we can use to communicate clearly with horses in a language they understand.

Hannah and Eva are currently the only instructors living in the United States who are formally certified to teach the Resnick Method.
