Why Yoga with Horses?
Equine yoga is a powerful tool for bringing well-being to humans and horses alike. The physical and emotional benefits of being with horses have been well-documented including lower blood pressure and heart rate, decreased stress, and increased empowerment, trust, and patience. Likewise, the regular practice of yoga has been shown to improve health, relieve stress, and increase mental clarity. By mindfully combining these practices we can multiply and enjoy the benefits of each.

Pasture Yoga
Step into nature for yoga in the pasture with horses every Friday at 11am. This 1-hour all-level yoga class includes meditation, breathwork, chair yoga, and standing poses. No prior yoga or horse experience is needed. Drop-ins are welcome. Please bring closed-toed shoes, a hat, water, and a free spirit!
Heart to Heart Yoga
Experience a deep connection with the heart of the horse on the second Saturday of each month at 11am. This 1-hour class involves meditation, breathwork, and hands-on connection with the horses as you flow through standing yoga poses. This powerful experience cultivates joy and peaceful awareness. To facilitate a close partnership between horse and human, participation is limited to 4 people. Registration in advance is required.
Mounted Yoga
Take your connection to another level as we practice meditation, breathwork, and yoga poses on horseback. This practice relies on deep trust between horses and humans. For this reason, we recommend attending a Pasture Yoga or Heart to Heart class prior to signing up for Mounted Yoga. These sessions are by appointment only and limited to 2 participants. All Level Yoga Class
In addition to Yoga with Horses, Free Spirit Stables offers indoor mat yoga classes on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. These classes are designed to help you feel at home in your own skin. No prior yoga experience is needed and all bodies are welcome! Sign up with the button below or feel free to drop-in.
